Only setting up your website and just leaving it as it is, imagining people will know about your website, then I would say that’s the biggest mistake every site owners make. To get traffic to your website, you have to approach to other people on the internet who have their blogs up and running with good amount of traffic. The simple thing which every site owner can do is to start commenting on other blogs related to niche in which he or she has a website or blog. Now this simple strategy seems to be time consuming for all people. Listen what a typical website owner find excuses about this strategy.
I have tried Blog commenting, it doesn’t bring an avalanche of traffic to my website. It brings huge amount of traffic to the site unless we do it on large scale.
When I come across such excuses I realize that they are not utilizing it effectively so that they can get passive traffic. When I started my blog I was facing same trouble with myself as I was also unable to manage time for blog commenting. Was unable to find good blogs in my niche, apart from that I was unable to find what I have to comment on blogs. Being met with all such trouble initially, I also gave up with blog commenting. Later I got valuable learning from my friend Akshay, he taught some basic steps which he is used to implement everyday to get passive traffic to his blog by blog commenting. Based on his reply, I am laying down some rules which everyone should follow while commenting on any blog.
1. Comment relevant to content only as moderators for comments allows only relevant comments. Don’t just comment just for backlinks. The best approach is to read article which will not take more than 5 minutes, and then comment based on relevancy of article or any information.
2. Apart from appreciating the author or the article, you should also ask questions or lay down your experiences or advice the community in your comments
3. Don’t only comment solely on article, try to give replies to other comments also there on article.
4. Rotate your links if you are commenting on more than one post on same blog i.e. each time you comment you should place different link on each post in website or site field of the comment box. If you have information, related to article or post on which you are commenting, on your blog or on other website, then place those links in your website fields which links to that information.
Follow this rules while commenting and see none of your comments are denied. Now the question lies as where you can find those blogs related to your niche. There are blog communities and search engines which suggest you blogs based on your inputs. Such as Keywords, popularity, how often they are updated and based on sub-niches. Go through some of such services from below links.
All mentioned networks will need manual work for finding blogs and then comment by filling comment form repetitively, and also they don’t give any data whether the blogs are of “Do-Follow” or “No-follow”. Now don’t ask what are “do-follow” and no-follow”, go google it and you will simple one line definition. In short, it is always better to comment on Do-Follow blogs, as it will help in improvement of your website ranking. Free tools are created for researching those type of blogs. Apart from that those tools will allow you to create multiple profiles for comment box fields. Follow rule number 4 mentioned above for ways to comment on blogs. You can grab these tools for FREE below.
If you are too lazy for finding do-follow blogs, then you can purchase a list of such blog links form Angela and Paul, they are popularly called as “Angela’s and Paul’s Backlinks“. But prior to buying those backlinks, ask them to customize your order with only links that are related to your niche, as google doesn’t count backlinks which are non-relevant sites related to your niche or category. So Better is to order do-follow backlinks with only relevant site links with respect to your niche. Apart from that to completely outsource the process you can hire freelancers to comment on your behalf on those do-follow links package. But if you can afford to spend 30 to 45 minutes a day, then it will be enough that you get 5 to 6 backlinks each day. Use above mentioned tools to get more productivity in blog commenting.
As taught by Akshay, I am laying a down a procedure to do this task manually and effectively on daily basis.
1. Use Fast Blog Finder or Free Blog commneter, and make various profile in them based on links of latest posts on your blog. In layman term make profile based on latest blog posts url. Or you can use Angela’s and Paul’s Backlinks.
2. Use those profiles to get at-least 20 to 30 backlinks for your each post. Say you make 3 profiles based on three url of blog posts, then make a campaign to get atleast 60 backlinks in all.
3. Spare 30 to 40 minutes a day for blog commenting and try to post 8 to 9 comments each day on do-follow blogs.
4. Follow above mentioned rules for blog commenting.
Schedule this daily for 2 to 3 months to see desired results, and you can reduce it down to 15 to 20 minutes a day.
If any of you have a better way to do Blog commenting for backlinks, then be gratefull to community by mentioning them in comments.
