Gravity means the product or service is being promoted by large number of people and also it converts great as per the data generated by clickbank based on last 12 week trends. It also suggest that product is hot at the moment in the market. The products with gravity between 100 to 200 are desirable to promote but at the same time you will face a fair amount of competition. Also the products with gravity of 200 or above are in real boom in the market and you will get tough competition but at the same times the conversions are higher. Now these trends of gravity changes week by week and you should not be bogged down with its changing values. From my experiences you should start promoting product which have at least gravity of 40-45.
Apart from gravity other important criteria which should be considered is “Avg $/sale”. This suggest how much a clickbank will pay you on each sale of product generated through your affiliate link. It is always desirable to choose a product with high value of “Avg $/sale”, but at the same time keeping gravity criteria in mind you should always choose product which pays you at least 15$ to 20$ per sale.
